Chloë Natalia is a contemporary artist celebrated for her meticulously hand-crafted 3D works made entirely of paper. A self-taught artist, her practice is a deeply personal exploration shaped by a wide spectrum of life experiences. Drawing constant inspiration from the natural world, she is particularly captivated by the sublime forms and geometric intricacies found in botanical and floral structures.
Originally from the UK, Chloë has called the Spanish island of Ibiza home for the past 13 years. It was here that she found both the time and inspiration to begin her artistic journey. The island’s vibrant energy, its free-spirited atmosphere, and its ethereal natural backdrops — from earthy plains to turquoise waters — all feed into her work. Alongside nature, music and music culture flow through Chloë’s creative process and is a constant presence in her Ibiza studio. Drawn to the island’s deep-rooted connection to music, she weaves this influence subtly into her work, where rhythm and sound quietly shape form, content, and feeling. Through her intricate and unique paper creations, Chloë invites viewers into a world where nature, sound, and spirit intertwine, a world shaped by sensitivity, intuition, and the quiet power of hand-crafted beauty. Chloë works with paper using a combination of cutting, layering, structuring, and sculpting techniques. The majority of her work is hand-cut using surgical blades and scissors — a conscious decision that reflects her dedication to the meditative nature of working by hand. By intentionally steering away from full mechanical processes it allows each piece to unfold organically, guided by intuition. For Chloë, paper is a medium that elegantly distills natural forms into clean, harmonious lines. Her sculptures strike a balance between organic flow and mathematical precision, always aiming to intrigue, seduce, and quietly captivate. In recent years, Chloë’s work has received growing recognition. A major milestone was her inclusion in Wisdom & Nature, a prestigious exhibition held at Christie’s in both London and New York. Her work has also been shown in exhibitions across the UK, the US, and Europe, and she regularly creates commissioned pieces for a diverse and devoted collector base. Currently, Chloë's work is featured in the Voices in British Art exhibition at Kerridge’s, The Corinthia in London, alongside notable names such as Damien Hirst, Harland Miller, and Marc Quinn. This exhibition will run until the end of the year.
